The Buccaneer Beauties
(otherwise known as the Sisterhood of Seafaring Sirens)
Princess Priscilla of Prindragonia
AKA the Pirate Princess
Born and bred a member of the Royal Family of Prindragonia, but bored with court life, Princess Priscilla secretly took up swordfighting, card playing, and as she grew older, carousing in the town below the Castle. When her parents promised her in marriage to Dumphrey, son of the Duke of Dorcalonia, she decided she'd had enough and ran off to sea with her friend, Bess the Barmaid. Running afoul of Pirates, she and Bess had to fight for their lives; they defeated the Pirates, took over their ships, and ran off to join the Sisterhood of Seafaring Sirens, also known as the Buccaneer Beauties.Back to top
Bess the Barmaid
AKA Bess the Buccaneer
For years, beautiful buxom Bess was a barmaid at the Mangled Manacle in the town of Lower Prindragonia (which is of course, just below the town of Upper Prindragonia, which is just below the Royal Castle of Prindragonia, which sits on a high promontory overlooking Port Prindragonia and its lovely harbor). One night Bess was attacked by ruffians who dragged her into an alley to have their way with her . . . she was fortunately saved by none other than Princess Priscilla herself, who defeated the ruffians with dazzling swordplay. The two girls became fast friends, and Bess learned how to use swords and a host of other weapons. Naturally, when Priscilla ran off to sea, Bess went with her.Back to top
Scarlet Ravensblade
Long considered to be the most beautiful and deadly of the Buccaneer Beauties (otherwise known as the Sisterhood of Seafaring Sirens) Scarlet Ravensblade was the scourge of the Great Sea and truly Pirate Royalty in the most practical sense. Ravensblade took an immediate dislike to Priscilla when she arrived on Ailouros Island and declared herself the Pirate Princess, so she challenged Priscilla to a card game, which degenerated into a swordfight, which became a brawl, which Ravensblade lost. This created a long-standing rivalry, coupled with a certain amount of grudging respect.Back to top
Xiandrai Ting-Chow
AKA Sandy Ting
Beautiful, exotic and dangerous—but with a quirky sense of humor—Sandy Ting is a legend among Pirates, not just for her fighting skills, but also for her wild pranks. Hailing from a far off land steeped in Piratical tradition, Sandy became one of the foremost of the Sisterhood of Seafaring Sirens (otherwise know as the Buccaneer Beauties) in record time. She allied herself with Scarlet Ravensblade to form a force to be reckoned with. But even with all that, she just can't resist a good joke, or a prank, or a drink, or a brawl—Sandy gets into every Ting . . . .Back to top
Jilly-Anne
A young upstart Pirate, Jilly-Anne makes up for a lack of experience with sheer guts and bravado. Starting out as a common sailor sailing for several swashbuckling Sea Captains, Jilly-Anne worked her way up the ranks in fierce sea-battles and fiercer tavern brawls. She dreams of one day being the Captain of her own ship.Back to top
Wanda the Washerwoman
She wields a mean washboard, and not just for cleaning clothes. She's one of the most valuable women of any ship's crew—after all, someone has to keep all of that piratical garb clean. Friendly, happy-go-lucky, but with nerves of steel, you want to stay on her good side, and not just to keep your undies tidy.Back to top
Stella Starboard
The Pirate Princess's ship's steward. She be a feisty wench, ta say the least. She's an awful cook, and doesn't mix the grog right—but she can sword fight better than any other pirate you'll ever meet!Back to top
Precious
The legendary beauty of Ailouros Island who chose to live with Princess Priscilla as soon as she arrived. Precious, a princess herself, felt that having another princess as her housemate would befit her royal status.Back to top
